      New Zealand authorities allow tourists to fly drones under Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations. The CAA has issued a series of regulations for drone flight operations, and some highlights of these regulations are listed below.

      • Don’t fly drones over 25 kg.
      • Do not fly with FPV goggles without a spotter.
      • Have the consent of the property owner or person in charge of the areas in which you plan to fly.
